The Indiana Coalition Against Domestic Violence (ICADV) is proud to host the 8th Annual Race Away From Domestic Violence - to raise awareness and funds end domestic violence in Indiana.

Every nine seconds, someone is a victim of domestic violence. Sometimes it happens to family members, friends, co-workers, and neighbors. Regardless, it is a preventable and senseless crime that costs our family’s, our communities and business. Support healthy relationships and a healthy way to support the end of abuse and violence. 

WHAT: A 5 K competitive run, and non-competitve family fitness run/walk/wheelchair roll in downtown Indianapolis. The run will be timed and scored and prizes will be awarded to top finishers. There will also be a Kids' Race and activites for children 12 and under.

WHEN: Saturday, August 13, 2011. Registration begins at 6:45 a.m. and opening ceremonies follow at 7:40. The 5K will start at 8 a.m. and the Kids' Race at 9:10.

WHERE: The event will take place at the Michael A. Carroll IUPUI Staduim at 1001 W. New York Street, Indianapolis, IN 46202

ON-SITE REGISTRATION: On-site reigstration will take place at the IUPUI Natatorium on the IUPUI Campus (901 W. New York Street, Indianapolis, IN 46202)

TEAM PACKET PICK UP: Team captains may pick up their team packets at ICADV at 1915 West 18th St Suite B, Indianapolis IN, on Thursday August 11 from 9:00am - 5:00pm and Friday August 12 from 8:00am - 1:00pm

INDIVIDUAL PACKET PICK UP: Individuals may pick up there packets at the IUPI Natatorium on the day of the event (SATURDAY AUGUST 13, 2011) from 6:45am - 8:00am (901 W. New York Street, Indianapolis, IN 46202)
