Murray, seen in the picture is now safe in a loving home but, Life was not good for him as he lived chained to this wooden box for 3 years. Now that he has been rescued, he will have to be treated for heart worm. Many dogs who are left outside chained for life are heart worm positive because thier needs go ignored. Most of them get very basic of care and many get even less.

Educating people about this barbaric practice is hard work but we must forge on. We are starting to make a difference but there are millions of dogs who are living lives like Murray did.
