We believe everyone should have an opportunity to learn to read. Indy Reads seeks to improve the literacy skills of adults in Central Indiana who read or write at or below the sixth grade level.

Thank you for visiting the Indy Reads "Read-a-Thon" page!!!

The 2nd Annual "Read-a-Thon" took place at the Mystery Company Bookstore in Carmel, IN from 10am on Saturday May 3rd, through 4pm on Sunday May 4th. 

The Read-a-Thon is over, but you can still help us make our goal!

By Friday, May 9th we'll have an update posted on the total raised online, as well as pledges collected and donations made at The Mystery Company. Right now we are projecting $2,500. There is still time to make a donation online via this site to ensure we make our goal.

Please consider using part of your tax-refund to help Indy Reads reach more adult learners.

Donating through this website is simple, fast and totally secure.

Our goal was to raise $100 an hour for 30 hours to help improve literacy in Central Indiana! All funds raised will go towards providing free tutoring to illiterate adults.
