Inner City Kitties is back!
Thanks to so many of you, our inaugural Inner City Kitties Free Spay/Neuter Campaign was a resounding success. We were able to provide free surgeries for 487 cats and kittens, are seeing direct evidence in the reduction of unwanted litters and seeing some really great and unexpected anecdotal benefits, as well. That being said, spring is upon us (rest assured, we've been spaying/neutering all winter long) and we all know what that means for our kitty population...
We will hold our first clinic on Thursday,April 1st with the hope of spaying/neutering several cats prior to the spring population expolosion when the unwanted litters begin flooding into the shelter. Our lofty, but attainable goal is to complete 1000 free surgeries by Labor Day.
