Pease join us for the i-ROK Foundation's 3rd Annual 5K Run/Walk & Pancake Breakfast at Excelsior Springs High School, Excelsior Springs, MO.  We raised $15,000 last year, and hope to exceed that amount this year.  Our goal is $25,000 so please join us in our fundraising efforts by setting up a fundraising page when you register to participate in this event.  Thank you!

Funds that are raised during the year by the i-ROK Foundation benefit the Hematology-Oncology Department at Children's Mercy Hospital and funds pediatric cancer research through CureSearch.

Our main focus at CMH is the HEMONC Child Life Department.  The Child Life Specialists entertain (distract) the children during treatments that otherwise might be traumatic.  They also provide programs for the teen patients and assist the HEMONC doctors and nurses to keep the patients comfortable during their visits to the Clinic and/or 4 Henson (the inpatient floor.)

CureSearch for Children's Cancer funds the Children's Oncology Group, the world's largest children's cancer research collaborative.  With more than 210 member hospitals and 6,500 medical professionals, the Children's Oncology Group provides global expertise at our local hospital - Children's Mercy in Kansas City, MO.

You may register as a Walker, Runner or a Phantom Runner/Walker.  The Phantom Runner/Walker is available if you are unable to attend the event, but would still like to participate and help us raise money for the event.  The Phantom Runner/Walker will receive the race day t-shirt after the event via US Mail.
