Dear Friends,
My name is Iva Tsekova and I was diagnosed with Myelodysplastic Syndrome (MDS) back in 1999, while a student at Harvard College.
The disease was first detected in 1996, one day before I left for Italy to attend the United World College of the Adriatic on a full scholarship.
Ten years later, my long and painful journey as an MDS patient is over, thanks to a life-saving bone marrow transplant at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute in Boston.
Organization like the Aplastic Anemia & MDS International Foundation make a huge difference in patients’ lives by providing information, supporting the search for a cure and reminding us all never to give up because there is always a second chance.
Please vote for the Aplastic Anemia & International MDS Foundation by considering a donation of $10 or any other gift from your heart! Every $ counts! My goal is to find at least 100 people willing to support this cause.
Please remember:
YOU MAKE A LIVING BY WHAT YOU GET, BUT YOU MAKE A LIFE BY WHAT YOU GIVE!
Donating through this website is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to support my fundraising efforts.
Many thanks for your support -- and don't forget to forward this to anyone who you think might want to donate too!
Sincerely,
-Iva Tsekova
