Junior Achievement High School Business Challenge

Junior Achievement High School Business Challenge

Knowledge is power … and that is exactly what it takes to win this educational competition. The High School Business competition requires students to analyze situations, apply information under pressure, chart and interpret data, build consensus, make decisions, solve mathematical problems and work together as a team. Using JA’s high school business simulation program Students make a series of business-related decisions and learn problem- solving, critical thinking, and business strategy skills. Teams from area High Schools will be competing for scholarships.

"I thought the Business Challenge at the Dolan School of Business was a phenomenal experience for our high school students. Computer simulations provide and encourage students to collaborate while exploring their thinking, allowing learners to manipulate their learning experiences and visualize results."

Carol Merlone, Superintendent, Ansonia Public Schools

"This experience taught me the importance of teamwork, listening to my teammates ideas, and provided me with a unique opportunity to utilize my business knowledge in a simulated business competition."

Nick, Trumbull High School
