For those of you who do not know us, we The Three Jacks are a Celtic rock band based in Miami. (Much more at www.thethreejacks.com) We are touring Peru with step dancers from the wonderful Breffni Academy of Irish dance to raise funds to build a clinic in Pisco, Peru, for the medical care of kids and their parents still living in the wreckage of the August 15, 2007 earthquake.
Our U.S. sponsoring organization is the not-for-profit Angels With A Mission Foundation, out of Miami, Florida, and we have called the tour the "Angels With A Mission Tour" in their honor. Our sponsoring organization in Peru is The Rotary Club, Lima-Sunrise, whose project the clinic is. We have attracted support for the project from the consular officers of several countries, most notably the Norwegian Consul General in Miami and the Irish Consul General in Lima, as well as major donations from many international and Peruvian businesses, law firms and individuals.
Our kick-off show at The Adrienne Arsht Center for The Performing Arts, in Miami, on August 1, 2008, SOLD OUT! We packed the house and rocked the house - ending the night with a free champagne reception for the entire crowd provided by one of our prime sponsors, BountyFresh, LLC.
Our Lima shows, originally slotted for August 2008, had to be re-scheduled due to a serious medical issue in the immediate family of Three Jacks band leader, Henk Milne. Henk and his family are now through the crisis and the Lima shows are re-booked for May 15 and 16, 2009. Tickets are available at all Teleticket outlets in Lima, or online at Teleticket.

This is a 100% volunteer effort. We have covered all the cost and every dollar that comes in now goes to the cause.
