Hi, I'm Jacob. I love trains, cookies, playing outside and most of all music. I have been learning to jump, ride a bike, get dressed on my own and I just recently started learning about the potty.  I love people and I love to laugh. I have been going to preschool at Fresno State since May 2008 and I have a blast at school.  I have also been learning some letter names and sounds even though it's hard for me to sign some of them.  Oh, did I mention i have down syndrome and I would like for you to be a part of my Buddy Walk team.

The Buddy Walk is a fundraiser to promote awareness of and inclusion for people like me who have down syndrome. In the past we have had a great outpouring of support from our friends and family. Every year we try to create a theme in which we have everyone participate and enjoy themselves.  This year we will be The Chromosome Heroes.  We will try to have capes for all the small heroes and if you have any of your own you are more than welcome to bring them.  My mom was also thinking of making T-shirts, just let her know if that is a good idea. If you want one just give us a white T-shirt.  We would love to welcome new members to our team so please sign up.

This year the buddy walk will be held at Fresno State on October 10th at O'neil park.  The registration fee is $8 and you get a T-shirt.  There is also an option for lunch where adults are $5 and Children are $3.  You need to register before September 30th so please hurry.  If you forget to sign up you can always register on the day of the walk but for a higher fee of $12.   We would love to see you this year.

Our team will be meeting at 9:30AM at O'Neil park at Fresno State.  They will be taking registration from 8:-10:00, Break the Barriers will perform at 10:30 and the walk will begin at 11:15.  Lunch will be ready by the end of the walk unless you want to bring your own picnic lunch.
