WOW!  We are so touched by the generosity of all of you!  We met our goal in just a week and continue to surpass it!  Jake's name will be on the Memorial Wall and lighted for his 18th birthday.  I know that means so much to Jeff, Karyn and Lauren as well as the rest of his family.

Dear Family and Friends:

November 4 will mark the 18th birthday of my nephew, Jake.  He would be a Senior in High School this year.  As I'm sure most of you know, we also lost his best friend Tyler to suicide as well, just 9 months after Jake.  Since the death of Jake, we have heard countless stories of teenagers losing their lives in the same way.  Suicide is devastating and we need to find a way to STOP IT!

On behalf of my family and in memory of my nephew Jake, I'd like to ask you to please consider making a donation in his name to the SAVE Organization (Suicide Awareness - Voices of Education) to help put an end to this. 

Our HOPE is to help raise money that can go toward educating more teenagers about depression and preventing suicide.  Our WISH is that no other family would know the pain of losing a loved one to suicide.

When we reach our goal of $1,000, Jake's name will be placed on the Memorial Wall located at SAVE's headquarters in Minnesota. A light adorns each name on the wall and can be lit for special occasions.
