Did you know? Only 28% of parents say they taught their children the value of money.
Our community's future success lies in our ability to teach the next generation how to responsibly save, invest, buy, and spend. Local volunteers deliver Junior Achievement (JA) programs and valuable economic education that helps K-12 grade students prepare for the real world.
Are you aware? Kids ages 6-12 now spend as much as $40 billion a year and help their parents decide how to spend an additional $200 billion annually.
Over the past several weeks, as the global financial crisis has been unfolding, there has never been time when young people need JA to help them understand the present crisis. More importantly, how a similar crisis may be averted in the future.
How can you help? It takes more than volunteers and hands-on activities to make Junior Achievement programming possible. It takes the financial commitment from leaders like you. Your support will allow JA to continue to reach over 25,000 youth in North Central Ohio undersand the economics of life and open their minds to their potential.
Thank you in advance for helping JA educate students about finacial literacy, entrepreneurship, and workforce rediness concepts...all relevant and critical to our economy.
JA Works!
