Junior Achievement is a 501(c)(3) non-profit that has been “Empowering and Inspiring” young people to create successful futures through experiential, volunteer-delivered programs in Idaho since 1955. The purpose of JA is to prepare young people to succeed in a global economy.  We accomplish this by offering experiential, hands-on programs that focus on our three pillars of success:  Financial Literacy, Entrepreneurship, and Work-Readiness.  These highly effective programs are delivered by business volunteers bridging the real-world to the classroom, making the curriculum relevant.  There has never been a time more critical for the work we do, educating and inspiring our young people to value free enterprise, business, and economics to improve the quality of their lives. It is critical that we teach America's youth how to earn, save, and budget--how to manage credit--how to control their personal finances rather than vice versa. The youth we educate today will be our employee, customer, small business owner, or political leader tomorrow, which makes what you do as volunteer, donor, or board member, more important than ever. Generous support from corporations, individuals, and grants from foundations and community organizations make each class possible. We work with the school and the funding source to find volunteers to teach each class. Thank you for supporting Junior Achievement!
