My personal message:
Hi - and welcome to my personal fund-raising niche out there in cyberspace.

First of all, thank you for visiting - for your viewing pleasure is a picture of our cat just after I sat him down and explained I would running 26.2 miles into Boston on April 17th. He was less than amused by the prospect of such a venture, particularly when it became clear it required a period of fairly intense training, on Saturday mornings at 8am of all things.

I think I had his attention for a little more than 30 seconds, which is fairly impressive as I was up against another round of sleeping on the couch, or was it snack time, I can't quite remember...

The way this works is that you are able to make a donation by debit or credit card in a swift and secure manner. You will then experience all manner of good feelings flowing liberally through you as positive energy is streamed your way. Even if this isn't the case, I will greatly appreciate it and be sure to let you know in due course. You can make your donations annonymously, however I would suggest leaving a humorous comment for my benefit and others who visit. By the way, I should make it clear that all money raised benefits charitable programs and health initiatives affiliated to the hospital I work at.

Finally, no this is not a hoax - all those (myself included) who thought that my relocation to the US would result in a rapid and steady increase in my waist size up to and beyond popping diameter  - thanks to all manner of fine culinary establishments masquerading as fast food restaurants - be prepared to be humbled at my nothing less than heroic physical efforts and new found commitment to fitness. Whilst it is possible I am insane, perhaps I wanted to make one final stab at a level of activity future generations might consider admirable.

Thanks for visiting and even more thanks if you remember to donate.

Jalil
