The Concord SPCA has been very generous to us. They provided us with Micky, Lucy (cat) and Dexter (dog). Mr. Mick died peacefully at home on 9/2/09. He was 15-1/2 years old and ailing. We'd been great buddies. He came into my life soon after my mother's death and was my constant companion through ups & downs, seeing me to this most content and happy time of my life. Lucy-Goosey is a scream. She's loving and humorous. She's thrilled it's football season as she loves laying on her back, reaching her arms over head motioning "TOUCHDOWN!". Dex is a peach. He's the security guard at our Franconia home, relying on his nose since he's gone stone deaf. We've been blessed by the wonderful job done by the SPCA and now is our time to give back. If you've ever had an animal become a member of your family please make a contribution to allow other wonderful animals the chance to make a difference in a human's life. Dave, Dex and I will be walking 3 miles on September 20th in honor of your support and in rememberence of Micky.
