What is FUNaising 4 JA?

FUNraising 4 JA is an opportunity that allows JA of Oklahoma supporters a fun and easy way to raise funds for JA’s K-12  financial education programs through a great team-building activity.

JA of Oklahoma has created a special event for Business Professionals in both small and large companies in the Oklahoma City Metro:  JA Bowl-Arrgh-Thon FUNraising begins December 11, 2011 and ends February 24, 2012 with the Pirates Bowl Party!

 

Why is FUNraising 4 JA necesary?

The graduation rate in the Oklahoma City area is an alarming 48%. Students who participate in JA (relative to those that do not participate) are more likely to believe they will graduate from high school and attend postsecondary education. JA promotes 25 programs preparing students to succeed in a global economy.

 

Your FUNraising 4 JA treasure can make a difference...

$30        One Junior Achievement of Oklahoma Student Sponsorship

$90        Three Junior Achievement of Oklahoma Student Sponsorships

$300      Ten Junior Achievement of Oklahoma Student Sponsorships

$750      One Elementary School, Middle School, or High School Class Sponsorship

 

FUNraising 4 JA is fun and easy!

1)  Company Coordinators recruit Team Captains.

2)  Team Captains recruit Team Members (Teams should not exceed of  5 persons ) and the fun begins. Teams Members can include co-workers, friends or family.

3)  The suggested FUNraising goal is $500 for each team. That’s just $100  per Team Member! Get friends, family and business associates to help you reach and exceed your goal!

4)  Teams raising at least $400 will be included in the special “Pirates Bowl” Party on Friday, February 24, 2012 at AMF Windsor Lanes in Oklahoma City!
