Hi all,

Thank for you taking the time to look at my fundraising page!  Just to let everyone know, I will be participating in the Adirondack 540 RAAM Qualifying race from September 12-14, 2008.  It is a non-stop 540 mile bike race held in the Adirondack mountains.  I know that this sounds crazy, but I know that I can do this with the right training and preparation.

I am participating in this race to promote awareness of stuttering and other speech disorders and to raise money for the National Stuttering Association.   I would like to give an example to other stutterers out there, especially children, that through hard work and determination, you can do anything you want to and to not let stuttering get in the way of accomplishing the goals that you have.  On a side note, I am also trying to qualify to participate in the 2011 RAAM by participating in the Adirondack 540.
