The New York City Half Marathon is finished.  I completed the race in 2 hours and 44 minutes.  That was by far one of the hardest physical accomplishments of my entire life.  I would like to thank everyone who supported me and donated to my web page. 

A special thank you goes out to the surgery girls at Carroll County Memorial Hospital who created a fundraising basket which earned enough money to help me surpass my fundraising goal.  I would also like to thank my husband whose continued support enabled me to train and accomplish my goal.  Whenever I got down, he helped lift me up.  And of course my daughter Rose.  Her autism was what inspired me to run in this race. 

Congratulations to Rose's Uncle Kevin and Aunt Lindsay who also completed the race with me.  Actually ahead of me, but that's okay because we all finished!!!

For those of you with hybrid cars, it is still not too late to donate.  OAR will continue to take donations until November.  Thanks again for your support.
