Join your family, friends and co-workers in a walk with the greater Fort Worth/Tarrant County community in the fight against HIV/AIDS. Your participation in this fundraising event will allow AIDS Outreach Center to continue our efforts of supporting the men, women and children and their families living with HIV/AIDS in Tarrant and eight surrounding rural counties.
The 2008 AIDS Walk Tarrant County is a family friendly event. All activities will be held at the Fort Worth Community Arts Center at 1300 Gendy located across Lancaster Avenue from the Amon Carter Art Museum. The AIDS Walk (about 3 miles) will begin and end here and will wind through the beautiful Fort Worth Botanic Gardens. Vendors open at 1:00 PM.
