My personal message:
Thank you for visiting my Personal Fundraising Page. Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to make a contribution to my fundraising efforts. I am dedicating my spring marathon in 2008 to the Organization for Autism research; I will be running to promote their cause. Being a teacher, I have seen autism first hand with some of my students. Autistic children are some of the most fascinating beings - they are amazing and just a pleasure to work with! As educators, we consult autism specialists for strategies that will help create more successful environments for autistic children. However, there is so much more to be learned and gained from more research. Autism is a condition that is growing at a discomforting rate, about one in every 150 kids is diagnosed with autism. There is no known cause or cure. The continued research is imperative to assist families, schools, and most importantly, the children with the disorder. Please consider contributing to this cause and supporting my marathon efforts.
Many thanks for your support -- and don't forget to forward this to anyone who you think might want to donate too!
