My personal message:

Hello everyone!

On Saturday, September 12th, I will be participating in a 100-mile bike event called the Three Notch Century, which is challenging ride through Franconia Notch, Crawford Notch and the Kancamagus Highway.  I'll probably be convincing some others to create a relay team, I'm not sure this gal can do it alone!!

Why am I doing this?  Three main reasons:

1)  First of all, I'm hoping it will be a great way to beat myself back into shape after the arrival of little Sammy!

2)  I have a shiny, speedy new bike I haven't ridden much, and I need to break it in!

3)  But also, and most importantly, to support two great organizations I am currently employed by.  And these two organizations just happen to be collaborating on this event.

The first of which is called SeaCare Health Services.  SeaCare has over 400 health care professionals that donate their time and services to care for people who do not have health insurance.  Since 1992, they have donated more than $15,000,000 in health care services and products to thousands of adults and children living in the Seacoast community.  During a single year, over 60 million Americans move on and off private health insurance.  As a result, the need for health care access continues to be great. www.seacarehealthservices.org

The second organization is Northeast Passage.  Northeast Passage is a program of the University of New Hampshire that delivers disability-related health promotion and adapted sports programs throughout New England.  www.nepassage.org.   As a recreation therapist, I work with various clients to get them back to enjoying a great quality of life after an accident, illness or injury.

I will be splitting any donations right down the middle, 50% to each of these great organizations.  Any assistance you can provide is helpful to these organizations, and it helps to keep me employed!

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to make a contribution to my fundraising efforts.  Or, if you'd rather send a check, please mail it to my attention, payable to SeaCare Health Services, 11 Downing Court, Exeter, NH  03833. Many thanks for your support -- and don't forget to forward this to anyone who you think might want to donate too!

Thank you!

Jen
