As I look back at my early education (back in the dark ages), I wish JA had been there, volunteering in the classrooms and teaching us about the real world! Through JA, kids are learning from people in the workforce about what the real world is like. Volunteers in the classroom play an interactive game with the kids who make choices about education, careers, and spending their money. I think I learned those things from the school of hard knocks!  By supporting me in this Bowl a Thon, you'll be enabling kids in eastern NC to learn more about their opportunities and create a better future for themselves.
