I am a new member to the Special Olympics Georgia Honorary Board.  I am raising funds to support 22,769 athletes with intellectual disabilities who participate throughout Georgia.  Special Olympics Georgia (SOGA) offers 23 Olympic-type sports, 5 State Games each year and 500 competitions, meets and tournaments.  The focus is on their ABILITIES instead of their disabilities and it is a very exciting and rewarding experience to come out and watch the competitors!

Special Olympics transforms communities by inspiring people to open their minds, to accept and include people with intellectual disabilities, celebrating differences among all people...recognizing and respecting the similarities we all share.
