I'm raising money for these wild, amazing animals that live right here in North Carolina.
These animals include:
These creatures are mostly from overwhelmed sanctuaries, safety violators, individuals who neglected their animals in awful ways, and even persons who illegally moved their animals. Some of the animals are even from retired breeders that the Center chose to take in.
They have a new home, but this home desperately needs funds to continue to provide for these animals. The caretakers are local residents doing this out of the goodness of their hearts.
Please help me to support their efforts. They are a registered charity, and are based not far from my school, Duke University. I have visited them and the work they do is incredibly astounding! They deserve your support!
Current Projects that need your monetary support:
- Our recent rescues Arthur Tiger and Kira Lioness are close in size and age. We are expanding Kira's habitat to allow for them to be given the chance to live and play together. This expansion requires fencing materials, and a big insulated den box.
- Taking in new residents! Including Diego, the Canada Lynx, who was made illegal in his home by new regulations, an elderly ocelot, Tres, who was left homeless by Hurricane Katrina when the relatives taking in the family could not take in the cat.
