Please Join Me, in this opportunity to Honor the Memory of My Angel,
Jillian Danielle Workman - May 20, 1989 to January 16, 2007
On January 16, 2007, My daughter, Jillian, died in a car accident, which was caused by complications of her Juvenile Diabetes (Diabetes Type 1).
She was 4 months and 4 days away from her 18th Birthday.
It has been 2 years today, since I've held my Jillian. And I have decided to share our story with you, to help you and all who choose to read this, understand the seriousness of this life shortening and life threatening disease. And to share my love, respect and admiration of these young souls, who face death each and every day... who are, literally, in complete control of their lives ... while managing to Hope and Dream that someday they will be Free to be a "Normal" kid.
Of the many dreams Jill had, the 3 on the top of her list were:
- 1) A CURE for Juvenile Diabetes (Diabetes Type 1); which would offer a cure for Diabetes Type 2. This, I assure you, is the #1 Dream of EVERY child with Juvenile Diabetes.
- 2) To be a "Normal Kid".
- 3) To be 18 years old.
I believe that Jill would be greatly honored to help support JDRF, and all the wonderful work that they do. Especially, their commitment to Finding a CURE. This is all done through the generosity of people like you.
By supporting JDRF's mission to find a cure you won't only be saving children, you will be saving childhoods.
Thank you very much for considering your sponsorship towards the Memory of my Jillian.
What a beautiful way to Honor Jillian's all-too-short Life. I think that Jill is very proud of me right now :)
If you knew Jill, you'd know, that she was the type of person, that you truly remembered after meeting her. There was that something special, that was deep inside her caring and loving soul. She was an Angel on earth. I guess God needs her help, and has a very special job for her to do now.
Maybe her new job includes this Web Page !?!
Your donation really means a lot to us and to Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation International (JDRF).
"JDRF continues to make progress toward a cure for type 1 diabetes. Your donation will make a dramatic impact as JDRF moves life altering research out of the lab and into human clinical trials. Typically, more than 85 percent of JDRF's expenditures directly support research and research-related education.
Type 1 diabetes is a disease which strikes children suddenly and requires multiple injections of insulin daily or a continuous infusion of insulin through a pump. By supporting JDRF's mission to find a cure you won't only be saving children, you will be saving childhoods."
God Bless you and all our children,
who are "Fighting for a CURE" for their
Juvenile (Type 1) Diabetes
Our sincere thanks,
Jillian, Bill and Judy Workman
One Family: "Fighting, Dreaming, Hoping for a CURE !"
In Loving memory of,
