In the 2007 Plane Pull my team, the Helvetians, came in 1st place for money raised and 11th place for pull time. We were 0.01 seconds away from the placing in the top 10. Our name represents our highly developed sense of culture often masked by our youthful exuberance, just as it was with the Helvetians in . From about 500 B.C. to A.D. 400, several Celtic tribes, the most important of them named the Helvetians settled in . Ancient Greek and Roman historians described the Celtic tribes as barbaric. Modern archeology has corrected this picture quite a bit. From excavations at La Tène on the shores of Lake Neuchâtel (western , 1858) and many more in , and we know that the Celts in central Europe had a highly developed culture.
