My personal message:
Hey Friends, Guess what?? The concert raised more than $1,500! What a magical night it was! Here's a brief run-down... William Semple started it out with very soothing guitar music. His talented playing and singing brought good vibes throughout the cafe. Then my band, "Lost in Blue" took the stage, going from "Pink Cadillac" to a downhome version of "Stormy Monday", followed up by Nancy Sinatra's "These Boots are made for Walkin'". Then Samba Bom took the evening by surprise with their talented musical rhythms, and then their lively Brazilian dancer, complete with an outfit out of Carnival! Kevin from the Natural Fact Deli was dishing out delicious manicotti, along with Gyros, and other tasty items from their menu. The whole night was indeed magical. If you'd like to read more, there is a detailed article that came out, with photos, in the Kirkwood Webster Times. Go on-line to: http://www.websterkirkwoodtimes.com/Articles-i-2008-06-06-76976.113117_Benefit_Aids_Myanmar_Cyclone_Victims.html If you missed the concert, or would like to still contribute to the cause, you can! We are so close to our goal, we can smell it :-) Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to make a contribution to our fundraising efforts. Its also tax deductible. Okay, thanks again friends, and if you don't mind, please forward this page to anyone that may be interested in helping us out! Jo :-)
