2009 Walk For the Animals
Sunday, September 20 @ 11am in Concord, NH
The Concord-Merrimack SPCA is a non-profit organization that depends on private donations and is not sponsored by tax dollars. As the cost of living rises so does the cost of caring for approximately 1700 animals coming into the shelter. Adoption and stray fees do not cover the daily cost of food, collars, tags, vaccinations, or additional expenses of veterinary care, which often occur. The funds raised during the Walk make a vast difference in the lives of many animals in our care, but it cannot be done without the help from people in our community.
Please help me reach my goal of raising $1000 for the Concord SPCA by sponsoring me today!
Aaron and I are proud supporters of the Concord SPCA. Each pet we've adopted has been from the Concord location, including our current family member, Floyd. I am excited and proud to be participating in the 3-mile walk on September 20th in Concord, NH in memory of our beloved cat Emma. I will be wearing a t-shirt with her name on it as well as the names of several other cats we have lost in the last few years. If you would like me to add the name of your pet who has passed on please let me know and, in return for sponsoring me, I'll be more than happy to add their name.
If you are interested in participating in the walk or are interested in adopting one of the many pets in need of a loving home, please visit the Concord SPCA website.
