I am helping fundraise for the Campaign for Equal Justice, which helps over 20 nonprofit organizations stay operational. These nonprofits help low income and indigent individuals, abused and neglected children, victims of domestic violence, immigrants seeking asylum, and many other needy members of our community.
Recently, the public interest community suffered a huge set back when the state announced significant cuts to funding sources for civil legal aid services that combat urgent legal problems. This means less staff attorneys at nonprofits, less resources, and less help those who need it the most.
Because charitable contributions are more important than ever, I need your help to raise sponsorship money for the Campaign for Equal Justice. By making a donation (no matter what the amount, ALL donations are very much appreciated) you will be helping important nonprofit organizations in our state continue to provide pro bono legal assistance for low-income and indigent members of our community.
