My personal message:

My mom, Barbara Connell, was taken on December 11th, 2008 due to scleroderma.  It took 8 months for my mom to even get a diagnosis.  By then it was too late.  I hope to simply create awareness of this disease that little is known about.  I am so happy to find this walk and to actually raise funds for research would be amazing.  I know times are so tough for us all with finances so even if you can spread the word I am so grateful.  Thank you for your time.
