This is my 10th year to participate in the Polar Bear Plunge to benefit Special Olympics athletes in our area. Basically, the plungers raise money for Special Olympics by going into the Crimson Villa pools at Ford and Rouse in February no matter the weather. COLD COLD COLD!!! Donate below using your Credit Card to help with this great Fundraiser.  THIS YEAR IF I RAISE OVER $2,500 I WILL FORCED TO PLUNGE FOR 12 STRAIGHT HOURS. THAT IS A PLUNGE EVERY HOUR ON HOUR FROM MIDNIGHT TO 11AM ON THE DAY OF THE PLUNGE!

The Polar Bear Plunge is scheduled to take place on Saturday, February 13, 2010 at the Crimson Villas Apt Complex.  The Plunge Pre-Party will kick off at 10AM.  I would like to encourage you to come out and watch us plunge into the cold waters.  I would also like to challenge some of you to come out and plunge along side of me.  Because hey lets face it... when else would you have the opportunity to plunge into freezing cold water without dying... Yes it's cold... but it only lasts for a short amount of time!!!  As George Costanza says "Do women know about Shrinkage"

Last year was our third year to have the plunge in Pittsburg and we exceeded our fundraising goal.  We are hoping to do the same this year with your help and support.  I would not continue to do this if it wasn't fun...but also...if I didn't believe in the organization and their mission.  Thank you in advance for your continued support and dedication to Special Olympics Kansas.   Thank you for visiting my Personal Fundraising Page.
