Thank you for visiting our fundraising page! On June 1, 2006 my sister Kari was diagnosed with Carcinoid Cancer. Since then, she has endured 8 rounds of chemotherapy, a small bowel resection, and radioembolization treatments to fight the tumors that remain in her liver. At this time, she is not cancer-free but continues to fight her battle with great optimism and hope. Me and my long time friend Clint are dedicated to raising money in her honor that will help find a cure for Carcinoid Cancer, a goal that is within reach. This October, I will be running my 7th marathon (it will be my 6th Chicago marathon). My friend Clint will be running his 3rd marathon (all Chicago Marathons). This year we’ll be running together in her honor, raising donations along the way. Donating through this website is simple, fast and totally secure.
