Hey there! I want to thank you for visiting my fundraising page. Although, Shady Grove Fertility Reproductive Science Center (SGFC) as a whole is hoping to raise as much as possible to contribute towards making miracles happen through fertility treatment, Shady Grove Fertility Center's Columbia Office is working together to raise, and hopefully exceed, a goal of $2500 for our office alone in support of the Cade Foundation's "Race for the Family."
What is the Cade Foundation? The Cade Foundation Inc. is a national non‐profit organization that provides Family Building Grants of up to $10,000 to infertile couples. These grants assist with costs associated with infertility treatment or domestic adoption.
Donating through this site is simple, fast and completely secure. It is also the most efficient way to make a contribution to our fundraising efforts.
I ask that you please donate as much as you are able since every little bit truly does count. Also, since the race isn't until the end of September, you have plenty of time and are welcome to come back and donate more than once towards this wonderful cause. Your support is greatly appreciated by those who are helped through our fundraising efforts. Oh, and since it is a charity, it is a tax write off which is an added bonus!
If you are unable to donate money, you could donate your time by being a part of the actual Cade Foundation's "Race for the Family." Please sign up to join us on the Columbia office's team, the Columbia Crusaders. Those running/walking will get a free t-shirt and be placed in a raffle for a free IVF cycle. If you happen to win the cycle and feel you do not need it, then maybe you know a friend, neighbor, co-worker, or family member that may. After all, 1 in 8 couples are infertile, so there is a good chance you don't realize you know someone.
If I were a betting person then I would bet if you happen to mention or forward this information along about Cade Foundation's "Race for the Family," then you may find out that there are people close to you that you didn't even realize are having difficulty with infertility or keeping a pregnancy for one reason or the other. I know when I mention I work for Shady Grove Fertility many people want to tell me about their sister, brother, cousin, friend, or even themselves. I love to listen to each individual's story, and it makes me proud to know about organizations like the Cade Foundation that are solely there to help those in need. That is why I feel so strongly about the organization and am getting involved to help out in every way that I am able.
Again, many thanks for any support you are able to offer-- and don't forget to forward this to anyone who you think might want to donate too!
Go Columbia Crusaders!!!
Go Shady Grove Fertiltiy! And, go Cade Foundation!
