Hi, friends,

I am so happy to be part of Climb Up So Kids Can Grow Up again this year, raising money and awareness for the kids served by the American Foundation for Children with AIDS.  It is exciting to know that I am joining people around the world to hike, ride, cycle, or climb on behalf of the children who receive free medicine, food and supplies from AFCA and who through those donations also receive life and hope.

I will be climbing in central Pennsylvania on September 20, 2008 with some friends of mine to help the kids.

Please, as you can, donate towards my climb, knowing that 50% of HIV+ children who do not receive the ARV's they need will die before they are two years old.  75% will die before they reach five years old.  It is sad and insane that in this day and age, these children will die simply because they can't afford available medicine.  With your help, they will!
