On April 20, 2009, I will be running the Boston Marathon and will be running to raise money for Pine Street Inn. I am running for Ruby, and the nearly 7,000 people that are currently homeless in Boston.

Ruby is eighty- five years old and is a guest in the Women’s Inn, where she has been living for over a year. Ruby and I share a love of Chocolate. Last week, Ruby received great news that Pine Street found her an apartment in Somerville where she grew up. Thanks to Pine Street Ruby will move into her new home in two weeks.
