Along with thousands of other participants, JustinTymeSports, LLC has made a commitment to participate in the Hoops of Hope free throw marathon. We're doing this to help children who have been orphaned by HIV and AIDS.

Over the past four short years, Hoops of Hope participants have raised over $200,000. The money raised by participants has gone to sponsor over 100 orphans, build a high school in Twatchiyanda, Zambia, and last year, build a medical lab and counseling center in Sinazongwe, Zambia.

By our participation this year, we will be helping to raise money for a second medical lab and counseling center in Zambia. These laboratories provide quick and effective HIV/AIDS testing, allowing those who are ill to quickly begin drug therapy and other treatments. This helps prolong the lives of moms and dads and helps keep children from becoming orphans.

Across the world over 5,700 children every day are losing one or both parents to HIV and AIDS. We can't possibly help them all, but if each of us help a little, we can make a big difference!

How you can help:

1. The easiest way for you to help is to simply make a donation on this page. No amount is too large or too small. You may use the Sponsor Me Now button located at the top or bottom of this page to make your donation.

2. Have some fun by hosting a "mini event" in your own home. You can do this by your self, with your family, or with your friends. If you already have one of our mini basketball hoops (or another indoor or driveway hoop), you're all set to get started.

First, join our team by setting up your own donation page. Click here to get started on your own page. Click the GET STARTED button then click the select button next to World Aids Day. Then create your account by entering your e-mail address. Complete the on-screen steps to join our team...you will need to select JustinTymeSports from the list of available teams.

Note: If you prefer not to create a separate donation page, you may simply use this page to donate the money you collect from your friends and family. The next step is to ask 5 to 10 people to donate $1, $5, $10 or more to your event. If you created your own account, you will have an option to send a e-mail to all your friends and family.

Then have some fun shooting free throws - make up your own games. After your event is complete, you may use this page to donate the funds you collected.

3. If you (or someone you know) has access to a gym, consider hosting a Hoops of Hope event. This is a great way to bring your friends, school, or small group together to make a difference for these kids.
