My name is Kailey Walsh, and I am 24 year old rider for TeamAlpha.  My father, Fred Walsh,  was diagnosed with Alpha-1 Antitrypsin  Deficiency ( Alpha One) soon after I was born in 1985, and his twin brother John Walsh was diagnosed soon thereafter.  They have since devoted their lives to the pursuit of Alpha awareness, research, and support.  I have been active in the past with education and fundraising events for Alpha awareness and research, and have actually participated in many Autumn Escape Bike Treks in the past, including last years 2008 ride!  

Well Allison and I are back at it again this year, and we have also enlisted another team member, therefore this year we are "The TriPod." We will be tackling the 3 day, 160 mile ride from Plymouth to Provincetown, MA from October 2 through the 4th.  Please support the cause and help us raise money for the American Lung Association and the Alpha-One Foundation, any little bit helps!
