Hey there,

I am headed to Cape Cod to ride for Alpha-1-Antitrypsin Deficiency awareness.  The ride is the weekend of September 12th and will take me 160 miles across the Cape.  I have never been, so am very excited.

Even more exciting, I will be riding with a bunch of other Alpha-1 patients.   I will miss my CA team, but am looking forward to a bit of flatter ground. 

The latest update is that I have broken my ankle.   My goal is still to ride, but the 160 may be a bit of a challenge.  My docs are working with me though and we may just have to throw an cleat on the bottom of a cast.  No matter what, I am getting on a bike!!!!

Now, I know you guys gave a bunch of time and money already, but I thought I would throw this out to you anyway.  Plus, I am going to keep the page up for a bit just in case you hit the end of the year and need to throw something down for a tax write off.
