My personal message:
Braden was born with a congenital diaphragmatic hernia (CDH) that was detected minutes after he was born. Thankfully, his lungs were developed enough to breathe on his own shortly after his surgical repair. Many CDH babies are not as fortunate as Braden. For this reason, we would like to raise money for The Association of Congenital Diaphragmatic Hernia Research (CHERUBS). This organization is committed to raising awareness, funding research, and supporting families affected by this devastating birth defect. Perhaps one day there will be a known cause for CDH. As we celebrate Braden's baptism on June 29, 2008 please consider a donation in honor of his birth and miraculous recovery. We can't think of a better way to honor our son and help other families.
