I am walking primarily because of Jenna Mae, who has been a blessing to our family for the past year. Alternatives means a lot to me personally because the Alternatives Center in Chicago was where I directed Michelle when she first thought she might be pregnant. Their kindness and the support she was given when she contacted them was very important and I feel that a short walk is nothing in comparison. I am doing this for all of the unknown 'Michelle's' and, as yet, unborn 'Jenna's' who need help now and in the coming year. I am also walking for Kristina and her children. Kristina is the daughter I placed for adoption in 1973. She recently contacted me and we are busily establishing a relationship! Very soon, I will be meeting her 4 children, my grandchildren!
