We are so blessed to have June in our lives!  As others help us with our adoption,  we want to help others who are on this journey or who want to pursue adoption.  Bethany Christian Services is an adoption agency that provides outstanding adoption services to birth mothers and families and does so on a sliding fee scale.  Since the average adoption costs about $35,000, Bethany enables many familiies that could not afford to adopt to do so. 

Please join us as we participate in Bethany Christian Service's "Taking Steps to Save Lives" annual walk on June 28, 2008.  This fundraiser is poised to raise the majority of the funds needed to continue providing free services for young women experiencing a crisis pregnancy that are touched by the Charlotteville, VA, Bethany office. The one mile walk will end with a cookout, clowns, inflatables, and a fun afternoon for all.  A local studio, Glimpse Photography,  will be on hand to take complimentary portraits of each family that participates. Corporate sponsor Sperry Van Ness, of Lynchburg, VA, has provided some fun incentive prizes for the top earners.  

Bethany's offices in Virginia complete over 50 agency domestic infant adoptions annually in addition to dozens of international adoptions.  Presently, the local offices are working with over 12 pregnant birth mothers making an adoption plan.  There are approximately 35 prospective adoptive families in the waiitng pool -- and room for more!  Feel free to pass along our contact information to anyone you know who may be interested in adoption -  we are glad to help!
