Thank you for visiting Michele Katora's personal fundraising page to benefit Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation!
Michele's first Alex's Lemonade Stand was held in 2005 in memory of her grandfather who had passed away from lung cancer. Michele wanted to help kids with cancer because "Cancer is a terrible disease and no one, especially a child, should have to go through it".
Michele recently received a “Good Character” award from her
Hammarskjold
Middle School principal recognizing her fourth hosting of an Alex's Lemonade Stand. Her 2008 lemonade stand was conducted in memory of Tara Nicole Stout, a classmate who died of leukemia in September 2007.
Michele holds an annual lemonade stand during national Lemonade Days weekend, which is generally the first or second weekend in June. There are thousands of Alex's Lemonade Stands across the USA that weekend. This year our dog performed in 95 degree heat for donations as "Foxy Roxy the Diving Dog". She enthusiastically dove into our pool over 100 times!
Please consider donating! All donations are 100% tax deductible.
