Dear Family and Friends,

It's that time of year again! Suffolk Humane and the V's are raising money to help the homeless, lost and abandoned animals of Suffolk, VA with our second annual Mutt Strut Dog Walk and Festival.

Pick up any newspaper or watch the news and it is clear that we face some serious economic problems ahead. Our animal friends are often the first ones who feel the effects of hard times. While I believe that we will face many challenges in 2009 I'm optimistic that Suffolk Humane can thrive and continue on with our mission through the generosity and compassion that has been shown in the past. 

Won't you join Yoshi, Sachi and me in reaching our goal so we can make a difference in the lives of unwanted animals. If we don't help, who will?
