Hello Everyone! The reason you are on this page, is to support the very much loved and dearly missed, Kay Renninger. Kay battled a disease called Scleroderma for 13 years. She fought this battle wtih undying determination and grace, always appreciating each day ahead of her! Although it was a difficult time for her, she had a contagiously positive outlook on life .That's what was so amazing about Kay, while her conditions were not the most favorable, she remained one of the most pleasant people to be around. Without saying a word, she would help you see that things like; flunking a test, losing your job, fighting with your spouse, getting a flat tire, or even bouncing a check are just small obstacles in life. Kay showed people the big picture without saying a word. In fact, she would even let you complain about your small problems and agree with you that it is a big problem, while she was the one that had a reason to complain. She was just an all around amazing person, role model, mother, wife, sister, and friend. From chlidren to adults, Kay had a special effect on everyone that crossed her path.
I hope you had the opportunity to meet this remarkable woman, and if you didn't, she shines through in the hearts of the ones she left behind. Kay is a woman that will always live on in our hearts! We are having our annual, 'Celebrate Kay Day' in a few weeks- Saturday, August 15, 2009 in York, PA @ John Rudy Park.
Kay had one request, she asked that we continue to support and contribute to the Scleroderma Foundation. Each year, we walk in honor of Kay to raise money to find a cure for Scleroderma. So please, if you have a minute, take some time to read our page and/or contribute money to the Scleroderma Foundation in honor of Kay. Every dollar counts :)
