My personal message:
How hard could autism research really be? I asked myself this very question as I briefly considered not raising money this year. Such a decision made me do my own research throughout the entire month of January. I think the results speak for themselves:
* In a bowl of tortilla chips, certain unknown factors determine a chip’s awesomeness and thus determine the order in which chips should be eaten.
* A hair cut is something that should be fought with every ounce of your being.
* There is no wrong time to get totally naked.
* If you ask for French fries and chicken nuggets but don’t get them, keep asking.
* Sticks, paper, and rocks are a rare delicacy that the rest of the world hasn’t picked up on.
* Tiling a bed in an even layer of paper plates makes it more comfortable. You just don’t know that.
* People wouldn’t have sleep issues if they would go to bed with exactly eleven hot wheels cars.
* Again, if you ask for French fries and chicken nuggets but don’t get them, keep asking.
* Snow is an evil thing that shouldn’t be trusted. If it gets on your shoe you are as good as dead.
* Juice goes in the red cup. Always in the red cup. Don't even think about putting it some other cup.
As you can see, my month of research was pretty useless and didn’t help anybody. Thankfully with your help, money raised by OAR will be put into the hands of people who know what they are doing and can help better the lives of people with autism.
Over the span of this year I will be participating in several events raising money on behalf of OAR.
