Hi,
On August 29, we are riding in the Hotter ‘N Hell 100 endurance ride in Wichita Falls, TX as members of the Race for Grace team, supporting Grace Children’s Hospital in Port-au-Prince, Haiti.
Grace Children’s Hospital, founded in 1967, is the flagship ministry of International Child Care. Recognized as Haiti’s leading medical facility dedicated to the treatment of children with tuberculosis, Grace receives thousands of children annually who are suffering from TB and other diseases like malaria, HIV/AIDs and malnutrition.
In addition to the inpatient ward, Grace Children’s Hospital also offers numerous outpatient services including pediatric and adult TB treatment, a state-of-the-art eye clinic, a reproductive health clinic and HIV/AIDS treatment services.
International Child Care also works in the Dominican Republic, offering treatment for children with disabilities. The Community-Based Rehabilitation program teaches mothers and other caregivers occupational and physical therapy exercises for disabled children. Some other programs include assistance for teachers who have special needs children in their classrooms and training for community members who work to improve hygiene and nutrition in their neighborhoods.
We plan to ride the 25 mile leg of the race. We are asking for sponsors to make donations for every mile we ride. Even just fifty cents a mile will make a difference in the life of a child in Haiti.
Please contact us if you have any questions.

Thanks for your support!
Sincerely,
Keith and Chris Mumma
