Hello Family and Friends,
More than 12 million Americans have food allergies, and 3 million of them are children. It is more important than ever to find a cure. That is why we have decided to help make a difference!
On Braydon and Addisyn's behalf, we have accepted the challenge to raise funds and participate in the Food Allergy Awareness Walk in Madison on August 9, 2008.
As many of you know, both of our children, Braydon and Addisyn, are severly allergic to milk and eggs. As a family, we have learned to deal with these allergies and for the most part, our children live normal lives that are just milk and egg free. The only current cure for food allergies is strict avoidance.
We have learned that the best way to make sure that our children stay safe is through education. The Food Allergy Awareness Walk raises funds that are needed to support community awareness and education programs, as well as research on a national level. A good portion of the donations will stay in the state of Wisconsin, where it is badly needed.
