Thank you for visiting my fundraising page!
As a granddaughter of a founder of Music From Bear Valley, I am not only personally connected to the Festival by blood but attending the concerts over the last few years has grown my profound appreciation for well executed classical music in one of the most beautiful and unique environments available. On more than one occasion, as an audience member of concerts ranging from Chamber Music to poignant solo performances, such as Santiago Rodriguez, I have been moved to tears by the amount of talent, skill, dedication, and passion that is demonstrated in the performances. For more info on Music From Bear Valley please visit http://www.bearvalleymusic.org/
Not only is Music From Bear Valley a unique gem of fine art but the small and loyal crowd that it draws to Bear Valley has become an increasingly important part of the business climate that helps Bear Valley survive as a year-round mountain town.
As a new marathoner, I thought this would be a perfect way to raise money for a GREAT cause. My finishing time for last year's race was 4:10 and I am confident that I can break 4 hours this year in Bellingham. Though it isn't the best year to ask my family, friends and colleagues for donations, anything that you can contribute will be a great help for the cause.
Keep in mind, any donation helps, you can donate a flat rate of any amount.
If you do not want to donate online, you can write checks to Music From Bear Valley and write Kira in the memo line and send it directly to
Music From Bear Valley
PO box 5068
Bear Valley CA 95223
or come into the Bear Valley Sport Shop to hand me a donation.
I also invite you to donate according to the challenge package. If I finish the marathon, your donation will be the same, if I break 4 hours, your donation will double, and f I run the race in 3:40 or less, your donation triples. If you are interested in this package, please ask me personally for more details in person, via e-mail or phone.
I appreciate your interest in this venture and look forward to meeting my fundraising goal in addition to breaking 4 hours. My training blog is http:www.kirasmarathon.com. This is designed keep you abreast of my training fundraising efforts.
Donating through this website is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to support my fundraising efforts.
Many thanks for your support -- and don't forget to forward this to anyone who you think might want to donate too!
