In 1999, I moved to Bloomington, Indiana and through the support of many young musicians and parents founded a non-profit organization called the Southern Indiana Youth Symphony, Inc.  It's been ten years and now this organization supports the Musical Arts Youth Orchestra, a regional youth orchestra program with 65 young musicians, a jazz program, a chamber music program, string lessons to children at the Boys and Girls Club in Bloomington and Spencer Strings, and hosts an international youth festival.
