Hello! My name is Kristen and I am a year-round program staff at the Florida Lions Camp. I am from South Florida and a recent Florida State University grad. It’s that time of year again, as the Florida Lions Camp prepares for its annual Walk-A-Thon. All the money that I raise will help send a camper to FLC! I am hoping to raise at least $750.00, the cost of one week at camp.

This year’s fundraiser will be “The Buddy Walk”, participants will raise money this year by walking alongside a “buddy” of their choice, showing off their abilities.  Whether it is a family member or a FLC staff we are asking this of participants to emphasize the camp’s goal to not only  provide recreation and learning experiences for our campers with varying abilities, but to all involved in the lives of our FLC campers.

The staff at FLC are looking to raise more funds to help insure the Florida Lions Camp can further serve it’s mission, to help insure a better future for all by giving a world of good through camping and providing inclusive recreational programming for campers of varying abilities.
