Special Olympics Kansas is dedicated to empowering individuals with intellectual disabilities to become physically fit, productive and respected members of society through sports competitions, health and nutrition programs and leadership development. Offering year-round initiatives to over 5,300 children and adults with intellectual disabilities, Special Olympics Kansas is a platform for acceptance and inclusion as well as one of the largest advocates for healthy lifestyles in the state – regardless of race, religion, ethnicity or cultural differences. 

SOKS does not receive governmental funding and is not a United Way agency, but relies soley on the generosity of individuals and corporate donors. 

Please use this tool to create an online Personal Fundraising Page to help you gather donations from friends, family, colleagues and neighbors and support your effort in the LETR. Your participation is greatly appreciated and ensures the success of Special Olympics Kansas.

ATTENTION DODGEBALL REGISTRANTS:

Please have your team captain establish a team with firstgiving.com before registering individually.  (Simply send a request to their support staff asking to add your team to the Prairie Village Dodgeball Tournament.)  You may set your team goal at $200, the minimum amount required to play or any amount higher.  Once your team has been registered, simply send out an email to your teammates telling them to register under your team name.  Then every person can create a fundraising page (after registering) and set a fundraising goal for themselves.  The money each person raises will count towards their team's entry fee.  If you have any questions regarding the process, please contact Luke Schulte at 913.236.9290.
